Pcod and weightloss
PCOD also known as polycystic overian syndrome is popular among most women in the age group of 18 to 35 years of age
This disease is hormonal and it crubs the female fertility rate
Making it difficult for women to conceive at their reproductive age
Common symptoms include
Infrequent periods
Perstitant bleeding
Ache
Weight gain
Facial hair growth
To name a few
The major challenge today is to remain fit and healthy
It becomes difficult for such women to come to terms with regards weightloss
Weight gain today is considered to be dreadful
Women feel insecure about their bodies constantly and the urge to reduce the weight makes them gullible and stressed
Primary reason being irregularities in the periods due to hormonal imbalance.
No matter how hard a women tries to cut down the extra kilos it all becomes a nightmare
On the other hand those who are trying to conceive try varied methods such as IUI or IVF
These methods are costly and there is no such guarantee of bearing a child by going through these torturous methods
Women suffer mentally and physically while going through these methods
The success rate to these methods although is very less
Still we see a large no of clinics specialised in infertility treatments that offer varied treatments to women
My journey to tackle PCOD is somewhat an experience which I would like to share with all the young girls who need to take it lightly and with a positive approach
No matter how difficult it may seem but there definately is a way out to everything
I am still at the stage where even after conceiving via IUI, I am still not out of PCOD
I am still struggling to cope up with my weight gain
Only because the society expects women to be a certain way i.e.
Slim, healthy and beautiful
